| Wu Style
Taijiquan (Taichi) has been known for its softness. The smooth
and continuous movement flows in balance and connectedness
to achieve a mental state of alert relaxation. It is to seek
the power of stillness inside motion. Practitioners find unrestrictiveness
in the tightness of movement. The movement frame is compact,
yet it builds up a strong fundamental. Wu's style push-hand
techniques feature its rigor and meticulousness. Its subtleness
asks for elimination of unnecessary movement and it has been
famous for the ability to neutralize against opponent's force.
